History

Peter Brock founded BRE in 1966 as an effort to increase public interest in American Motors Corporation's Javelin model. He quickly achieved success by dominating SCCA races with these cars and his team set multiple track records across the country. After competing for five years, Brock shifted focus and started working on production cars from various manufacturers in 1971. His partnership with Nissan resulted in one of the first successful applications of turbocharging technology to production cars. In 1975, his team competed in various Rallye events using this technology before ultimately winning the 1983 Rallye Monte Carlo title. Brock's success continued until 1999 when he retired from professional racing and passed control of BRE operations over to his son John Brock.

Present Day

Today, John Brock continues his father's legacy by leading BRE into its next phase as an official manufacturer representative for Honda Performance Development (HPD). This relationship allows them access to HPD parts and vehicles which they use to participate in amateur and professional motorsports events across North America. In addition, their engineering department offers customers access to performance tuning services such as engine upgrades, aftermarket parts installation and custom exhaust systems. The spirit of innovation exhibited by Peter Brock during his career continues today through John Brock's leadership of BRE.
