What does UCJ mean in JOURNALS

Ukrainian Chemistry Journal (UCJ) is an academic journal dedicated to the communication and dissemination of research related to various aspects of chemistry. It publishes research articles, comments, and reviews on topics including analytical chemistry, biochemistry, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry and theoretical chemistry.

The Ukrainian Chemical Society is responsible for publishing the UCJ. This scientific society was founded in 1917 with the mission of promoting professional relationships among chemical scientists living in Ukraine.

Yes! The journal welcomes papers from researchers around the world who wish to share their findings with a broader scientific audience. Although most of our authors come from Ukraine, we accept submissions written in English from any region so long as they meet our editorial standards and fall within our scope.

No – there is no article submission fee charged by UCJ for manuscript submission or processing fees once your paper has been accepted for publication. Some other publishers may charge these types of fees but this is not something we do at UCJ!

For regular format papers published in standard issue formats, authors should aim to keep their papers between 6-10 pages long excluding figures and references unless otherwise instructed by us directly when submitting your paper through our online portal system at ucs-ukraine.org/ucj/. For special issue contributions longer papers may be acceptable so please contact us directly prior to preparing your manuscript should you have questions about type lengths being considered for publication in a particular special issue topic area!
