What does FTW mean in FOOD & NUTRITION

FTW stands for Food for Thought Worldwide. It is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing global hunger and malnutrition through innovating sustainable solutions at the local level.

The core values of FTW are empowering communities, promoting sustainable solutions, fostering collaboration, and advocating for equity in access to food and nutrition globally.

Through its initiatives, FTW supports sound agricultural practices; promotes nutrition education; facilitates access to clean water and improved hygiene practices; builds capacity through training and development; fosters market linkages between producers; markets, distributors and consumers; increases social and economic opportunities; encourages policy advocacy; and provides research into improving access to food security worldwide.

Yes! FTW operates in many countries around the world, including India, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia, South Sudan and Mexico. Each community-based initiative is tailored to meet specific needs while also creating lasting relationships with local partners.
