What does CCSB mean in RELIGION

CCSB provides traditional Christian worship services twice on Sundays, mid-week Bible studies for adults and children, devotional meetings for men and women, grief support meetings, student ministries for high school and college students, outreach programs for homeless people and other vulnerable populations in Santa Barbara, and other service opportunities.

The mission of CCSB is to teach the Word of God with clarity and passion while equipping believers to live out their faith through diligent prayer, meaningful fellowship with one another, generous outreach within our community, intentionally disciple others in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Yes - CCSB has several special ministry programs including missions trips around the world; monthly soup kitchens served at Sanctuary Shelter; evangelistic street preaching in downtow; weekly nursing home visits; recovery groups for those struggling with addictions; parenting classes for couples raising young children; marriage classes; bereavement counseling; "Loving Your Neighbor" workshops that explore ways to break down racial divides through practical acts of love.

A mix of contemporary praise & worship songs along with classic hymns are sung during worship services at CCSB. Music styles range from upbeat praise music to slower reflective ballads depending on the focus Scripture passage or theme of the service.

There are many ways to get involved at CCSB! You could attend one of our worship services each Sunday or join a Bible study group during the week. Additionally you could volunteer as a greeter on Sunday mornings or help out with various service projects within our city — opportunities are available for everyone regardless of interests or skillset!
