What does ASPIRE mean in UNCLASSIFIED

ASPIRE is funded by The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) and implemented by the National University of Science and Technology, Islamabad.

ASPIRE offers training opportunities in pedagogy for faculty, develops infrastructure for research activities, creates collaborative programmes with industry, provides access to technology platforms to support research activities, organises public outreach activities such as conferences and workshops, as well as promote international collaborations.

ASPIRE helps teachers in developing their skills in teaching through offering pedagogical courses and seminars on a regular basis. These sessions assist faculty members in incorporating the latest methods of teaching practice into their classroom instruction.

The technology platforms provided by ASPIRE include access to virtual labs, learning systems, online libraries, software development kits, e-portfolios for faculty members and a host of other tools related to teaching and research activities.
