What does RCDC mean in DEVELOPMENT

RCDC provides technical assistance and capacity-building support to help countries in the developing world achieve their development goals. The center works on training and policy initiatives related to health, education, gender equity, economic growth, civil society strengthening, natural resource management and more.

RCDC works in partnership with organizations from various sectors including governments, private sector firms, civil society organizations as well as international organizations. These partnerships enable them to promote sustainable development solutions across various areas of work.

RCDC implements projects through a combination of direct project implementation and partnership initiatives with various organizations. Through their projects they aim to strengthen institutional capacities for policy research, program design and evaluation as well as knowledge transfer activities such as workshops and conferences.

RCDC has currently worked in over 50 countries across Africa, Asia Pacific, Latin America & Caribbean and Central Asian region. They have provided targeted support to national governments to better align policies with the changing demands of development challenges.

Yes! In addition to project implementation activities, RCDC also conducts research studies that allow them to measure impact of their interventions in different contexts such as health systems strengthening or access to finance for women entrepreneurs. Additionally they also organize several knowledge sharing events like roundtables/workshop for stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
