What does SYL mean in YOUTH

Somali Youth League (SYL) is an organization that works on behalf of the youth of Somalia, advocating for their rights and creating opportunities to enable them to reach their full potential. Founded in 1943, SYL seeks to empower and support young people by providing access to education, health care, and economic resources.

The main goal of Somali Youth League is to empower young Somalis through education and job creation initiatives. It also advocates for the protection of children's rights and works on eliminating obstacles that prevent youth from reaching their full potential.
