What does UACC mean in CAREER

UACC offers a wide range of career and academic advisement services that help students explore, plan, and implement their educational, career and life goals. We provide various ways for students to achieve their personal and professional success such as assistance with exploring majors, job searches, internship opportunities and graduate school applications.

You can book an appointment online through the My Career Center Platform. Once you are logged in you will be able to view available appointments by choosing the “Advisors” tab and then selecting the “Book Appointment Now” button.

Through our website you can find information about upcoming events, workshops and other programs offered by UACC, as well as access to many helpful tools including resume critiques, job postings, internships and more. Additionally, our staff is available to offer guidance when necessary.

Absolutely! Our Career Coaches are dedicated to helping match employers with qualified candidates through our platform My Career Center which provides access to hundreds of opportunities from employers around the country. We also host several events throughout the year where employers come on-site for interviews - make sure to check out these opportunities!

Yes! We have advisors on hand that specializes in grad school preparation such as application essay review and mock interviews. Additionally we often host events focusing on graduate admissions so make sure to check our calendar for those dates!

Yes! Even if you have written one before it's always useful to have your cover letter reviewed by someone else who may be able to point out something new or recommend improvements - we are happy to provide this assistance at no cost through any of our scheduled appointments or drop-in hours.
