What does WG mean in UNIVERSITIES

Any woman who has earned a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rotorcraft certificate or foreign equivalent may become a member of the Whirly Girls.

There are many ways to get involved with the Whirly Girls whether that's attending regional meetings or becoming a mentor for aspiring young pilots. You can also make donations and volunteer with local events such as air shows or group activities like fly-ins.

Throughout the year, members come together at multiple events including fly-ins, workshops focusing on professional development topics such as leadership and self-advocacy skills, mentoring circles, and even annual symposiums featuring guest speakers discussing topics ranging from aerospace engineering to aerobatics.
